On Monday September 5th we went on our second field trip for Australian life and culture. We visited the Tweed River Art Gallery and the Bryon Bay lighthouse!

The Gallery

Was situated in Murwillumbah, centre of the scenic Tweed Valley Australia, which is formed from the eroded volcanic shield of Mt Warning. The Gallery serves a fast growing region populated by many artists and craftspeople. The Gallery promote the understanding and enjoyment of all the arts, especially the visual arts.

Lighthouse

The Cape Byron Lighthouse is Australia's most easterly light being situated on the most easterly point of the mainland. It is also Australia's most powerful Lighthouse.
